According to Jack M: “The things we teach our children are things from the past 200 years – it’s knowledge-based. And we cannot teach our kids to compete with machines, they are smarter.” ( Jack Ma, January 2018). Nevertheless, many teachers adopt traditional unbalanced methodologies that cannot help the students integrate the 21st century. As Barbara Kurshan said: “Students need 21st C skills to, meaningfully, participate in our digital world rather than being steamrolled by it.” (Barbara Kurshan, Forbes). In the US for instance, “almost 40 percent of American employers say they cannot find people with the skills they need.” ( Martha Laboissiere and Mona Mourshed,, 2017). Thus, preparing the students for this Age requires “updating” the methodologies and their rationale. The companies need leaders rather than ordinary workers. It is indubitable that many successful approaches have emerged and made a big difference in developing the students’ language and fostering their leadership skills. One of these is: Flipped learning.
